Several students were suspended from Milford High School for recording a controversial video of the "Harlem Shake," a dance craze sweeping YouTube.

Their version included a lot of pelvic thrusting and little clothing.

"It was a vulgar video," said Milford High parent Karen Wallis. "There was nothing cute or nice about it. I want to know what the administration's side of this is. I'm sure it's very reasonable what their grounds were for suspending the kids."

The video showed several students in a classroom appearing to study, except for one boy wearing a helmet dancing in between the rows of desks. It then abruptly switches to several clips of the students dancing in a sexually suggestive manner, including one of whom had a live duck.

The video closes out with the title "White Boys Making Noise."

"The students lied to the teacher to gain access to the classroom and went as far as to use a live animal in the video," Huron Valley Schools spokeswoman Kim Root said. "Our kids have to be held accountable, now."

The students originally posted two videos filmed in the classroom, but one has been removed, according to Root.

She declined to say how many of the students were suspended and for how long.
