New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg was denied a second slice of pizza today at an Italian eatery in Brooklyn.
The owners of Collegno's Pizzeria say they refused to serve him more than one piece to protest Bloomberg's proposed soda ban, which would limit the portions of soda sold in the city.
Bloomberg was having an informal working lunch with city comptroller John Liu at the time and was enraged by the embarrassing prohibition. The owners would not relent, however, and the pair were forced to decamp to another restaurant to finish their meal.

The minute-long clip, the third in a series with Felicia the Goat, shows the animal in a police lineup with several black men (portrayed by other Odd Future members), as a cop instructs a terrified, battered white woman to identify her assailant.

A University of Arizona student is sparking outrage after standing on campus holding a sign that read "You deserve rape."
Dean Saxton, known as "Brother Dean" on campus, regularly demonstrates on campus holding Christian-themed signs but appeared to cross the line earlier this week.
Several onlookers, both male and female, confronted Saxton and some complained to the Dean of Students Office.
Campus police pulled Saxton aside at one point, but university officials said he hasn't violated the student conduct code and has the right to free speech.
"I think that girls that dress and act like it, they should realize that they do have partial responsibility, because I believe that they’re pretty much asking for (rape)," Saxton, wearing a shirt that read "Virgin Pride," told the Daily Wildcat campus newspaper.
In a "secret tape" of an off-the-record presentation to UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA students leaked to MOTHER JONES magazine, Republican consultant and pollster FRANK LUNTZ criticized conservative talk radio for polarizing political discourse and being "problematic" for the Republican Party.
In the talk with PENN's College Republicans, recorded surreptitiously by student AAKASH ABBI after LUNTZ went off the record, LUNTZ noted that while Democrats "(have) got every other source of news on their side," Republicans rely on talk radio, and noted that MARCO RUBIO is trying to find "a legitimate, long-term effective solution to immigration that isn't the traditional Republican approach, and talk radio is killing him."

George Jones, the peerless, hard-living country singer who recorded dozens of hits about good times and regrets and peaked with the heartbreaking classic "He Stopped Loving Her Today," has died. He was 81.
Publicist Kirt Webster says Jones died Friday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after being hospitalized with fever and irregular blood pressure.
Known for his clenched, precise baritone, Jones had No. 1 songs in five separate decades, 1950s to 1990s, and was idolized not just by fellow country singers, but by Frank Sinatra, Pete Townshend, Elvis Costello, James Taylor and countless others.
