CLEAR CHANNEL PITTSBURGH ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH DUQUESNE UNIVERSITY


Pittsburgh, PA July 6th, 2010 – Clear Channel, Pittsburgh’s number 1 rated radio group announced today a partnership Duquesne University men’s basketball.


Duquesne “Dukes” Basketball play-by-play will air on FM Newstalk 104.7 (WPGB) beginning in the 2010-2011 season. This will be Duquesne’s fifth season under head coach Ron Everhart. Everhart’s Dukes, which posted the school’s first winning season in 14 years in 2008 (17-13) and followed that by going 21-13 and earning an NIT bid in 2009, added 16 more victories in 2010 marking the first time since 1968-73 that the program posted 15 or more wins in three consecutive seasons.
